H.R. 3200, America's Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009, District by District Impact


U.S. House of Representatives's Committee on Energy and Commerce. The Committee has prepared, for each member, a district-level analysis of the impact of the legislation. This analysis includes information on the impact of the legislation on small businesses, seniors in Medicare, health care providers, and the uninsured. It also includes an estimate of the impacts of the surtax that is used to pay for the legislation.

The Office of Student Financial Assistance administers a wide array of financial assistance programs available from several sources. Financial assistance is available in the form of grants, scholarships, work-study, and loans. Assistance may be need-based or non-need based.

The purpose of Data.gov is to increase public access to high value, machine readable datasets generated by the Executive Branch of the Federal Government. Data.gov includes a searchable data catalog that includes access to data in two ways: through the "raw" data catalog and using tools.

Serve.gov is a comprehensive clearinghouse of volunteer opportunities. Through Government Information Online (GIO) you can ask government information librarians who are experts at finding information from government agencies of all levels (local, state, regional, national international) on almost any subject.
